At Second Cup Coffee, in order to deliver the best coffee experience, we work alongside our producers and guests in a responsible coffee-growing environment to ensure the utmost respect and dignity. All of our coffee producers provide a safe work environment, and employees are compensated in a fair, equitable manner.
We pledge that no coffee purchased from Second Cup is harvested from child forced labor. Second Cup continues to support quality causes that will directly and positively impact the lives of coffee farmers from around the world.
Second Cup Coffee is also a proud supporter of national and international organizations that work towards a more sustainable future.
REGIONAL SUSTAINABILITY PROGRAMS
Together with the High Commission of Canada, Second Cup Pakistan is empowering women and introducing sustainable bags in their cafes with their Canvas for Change program. All of the canvas bags are created by women and sold in Second Cup cafes across Pakistan.
Second Cup Oman’s recycled bagged coffee grinds have become very popular locally. Used as fertilizer by many in the community, even the Royal family is known to fertilize the Sultan’s gardens with them.
